Help MNs

DD 11 has developed dark hair on her upper lip to the point now where some other kids are commenting on it.

Not ever having had this myself I have not a clue about how to even begin to help.

Your style and beauty advice is needed please.

If it’s not a family thing you might want to double check for PCOS with the doc.

Laser is best if she has fair skin and dark hair, but it can stimulate growth if it’s hormonal so check as above

Threading is best otherwise if she cab tolerate it

Waxing is ok but pulls in the delicate skin and leaves a completely bald patch, which can be a bit odd if you have a fluffy face

Jolene does just give you a blonde tasche which isn’t great

Electrolysis got rid permanently when IPL did not.

If you can afford an IPL machine or treatment, then that's the permanent way to get rid of it.

Depending on skin and hair colour.

If you go down the veet route, be very careful on the timings. I can still recall a teen from school who "burnt" her upper lip by leaving the cream on too long - the hairs were gone but she had a bright red "moustache" instead.

She's 11,they're not suitable for children under 18.

Get her a Flawless Touch , easy peasy and she can go it herself without risk of hurting or cutting herself.

I'll also say I've been using the flawless for a couple of years now and noticed no difference in the hair re-growth.

As shes so young it might just do the job for her til shes a bit older and can try different or more permanent methods.
