Another moaning swimming costume thread

I'm sick of it!!!!
I can't find a decent, bum covering, tall size costume anywhere.
I know it's not the season to be shopping for such things but I'm going to a very posh Spa at Xmas. Dragged my old faithful out the draw yesterday which promptly fell to bits.
So far I've ordered 7 from amazon. All too short or disappear up my bum.
Budget is £20-£30. Maybe I'm asking to much on that budget?
LTS are too expensive
Next has practically sold out
Marks are too expensive
What about Bon Marche? Anyone had one from there?
I'm not in the best of shape so standing in a cold bedroom trying to squeeze all my white flabby bits into a too small costume is seriously pissing me off!
Any ideas?

If you're prepared to risk the fit, I buy expensive swimsuits on Vinted. I swim 4 times a week though so get through them fast and know which brands fit.

@Twelveisthebestnumber - I like the front, but what about the back? Does it come halfway up ypur back. I'm looking for a deep scoop. I fail to understand why so many designers/manufacturers think we want full back coverage. Maybe they misread the brief?

Another vote for Boden swimming suits they are by far the most flattering and best quality I've purchased.

I always thought they were overpriced but ordered one from the Next sale and it was fabulous. Really strong material that holds everything in place and lovely colours.

As someone mentioned see if you can pick one up in the sale.

I was coming on to say Matalan tankini! With the big pants it looks like a full costume and no worries about bending over 😂

muddyford · 24/11/2023 14:50

Lands End do good ones.
But I must admit I had never heard of a moaning swimming costume!

sarahh96 · 24/11/2023 15:03

BINGO! I've got one. The black Tankini from Matalan with the big pants! Thanks all for your suggestions x

It comes up nice and high on the back. Enough to cover the lumpy bits!!@StarlightLady

I got one from Decathlon

It was a tummy holding/mature woman one. Good for the boobs and section overhang

Really comfy and well made

You're looking for the impossible! You can't have deep scoop and support because the support works by going squishing you into a tube. You can only have deep scoop and either no support or racing cross straps. This one is about closest you can get because the belt holds it together
