To cut, or not? (Hair, with pics)

I've recently grown my hair out from v short, to kind of between chin and shoulder length.

I can't decide whether to cut it again, as I am always tying it back because it bothers me.

I've name changed in order to post actual pictures!

So, stay longer or cut short again? 🤔

I think the longer looks lovely

Rhubarbandfennel · 14/11/2023 21:59

Yeah I prefer short - more unusual and less ageing

theduchessofspork · 14/11/2023 22:01

I’d keep it longer - it looks better/softer tied back than when it’s short. It also suits you fairer.

It might be possible to get a better short cut with more length on top. I don’t think the cut in the 2nd set of pics is great.

GettinChillyHereFFS · 14/11/2023 22:03

Beige jumper pic is nicest

Chewbecca · 14/11/2023 22:05

Stay long

WineAndFireside · 14/11/2023 22:12

I love whatever you've done with it in the photo with the red lanyard.

NinNinJin · 14/11/2023 22:13

Longer. Below ears. Lovely!

toomanyleggings · 14/11/2023 22:14

Longer and blonder looks more attractive. Depends what look you’re going for really

peoplearepeople · 14/11/2023 22:16

I way prefer the shorter style with you wearing the lanyard. It looks softer and makes your amazing eyes really stand out. The colour looks lovely as well.
I think the longer cuts look a bit limp and lost at the moment and drags your face down. The shorter cut lifts your whole look. Growing out hair is such a pain isn't it?!

Jewelspun · 14/11/2023 22:18

Longer in a Bob or grow longer looks more youthful and attractive.

The short hair is rather a mature look on you.

eurochick · 14/11/2023 22:19

Longer looks much better. I think the shorter looks could be quite aging.

Seas164 · 14/11/2023 22:26

Longer over short, knocks years off you, but gorgeous whatever.

user1471466920 · 14/11/2023 22:26

You look younger with it longer and blonder, very pretty lady.

DoneAndNotDusted · 14/11/2023 22:31

Absolutely keep it longer OP, the first photo looks great and the blonder colour suits you better too, makes you look younger as pps have said

Meadowflower2023 · 14/11/2023 22:34

Agree with a lot of PP, keep it longer (beige jumper pic) you have a lovely face and both styles suit you but the longer lighter look takes years off you. Also bobs seem to have made a big comeback this year.

cheeseandsaladcreamtoastie · 14/11/2023 22:37

Longer - it takes years off you

Thewondererhasreturned · 14/11/2023 22:39

I vote longer. You do suit it short too but I also think you look a bit younger with it longer. Its a lovely length maybe just get it nicely blow dried and tucked up a bit like a curly blow is it called? You might start to warm to the length

RudsyFarmer · 14/11/2023 22:40

It honestly looks great short and dark.

Pollyparkin · 14/11/2023 22:45

mdinbc · 14/11/2023 21:11

I prefer your look with the chin length bob, it suits you. If you find it gets in your way then perhaps try a barrette to pull back the top when you need to. I think the short cut was not the right one for you, it was a bit too boyish on the sides.

This exactly. Love the first pic. Want mine like this but keep being given graduated Bob!

GuitarGeorgina · 14/11/2023 22:47

Longer looks lovely. Short ages you by 10 years

sipsqueak · 14/11/2023 22:48

Love the short! But I prefer short hair generally.

But both long and short look great on you.

I've attached a couple of more un made up pics from the last couple of months.

I like these 2 plus the first one with you wearing the floral top.

You're very pretty and suit both but think you look a bit younger with a bit of length

crazycatlady2023 · 14/11/2023 23:07

You look younger with it longer but you certainly rock a shorter look too.

Depends what matters to you 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nocturna · 14/11/2023 23:10

Longer, the shorter cut ages you. I’d curl it though either with straighteners or a crimper

whiteshutters · 14/11/2023 23:12

Longer - the pic of you in the printed top is just lovely!
