Not much style or beauty but… I’m looking for a really good pair of pull on ankle or mid calf boots for dog walking

worth it as quite pricey!

I found them really uncomfortable.

I got some for the first time a couple of months ago (sale) and absolutely love them! Gamechanging for me, but my last pair were about £5 from Wilkos. They are really, really comfy, easy to get on and off and great to walk dogs quite far in.

My husband has just replaced his as they've developed a leak after about 3 years of regular use.

I’ve just bought some short boots from decathlon. Billed as snow boot wellies, really warm and good tread. Been wearing them all week on school run and on muddy walks and so much better than my old wellies.

I bought muck boots about 2 weeks ago. So far so good. Have horses so they will definitely need to be hard wearing. But theh are warm, comfortable and dry so far.

Am also a big fan of woofwear boots. Had a long and short pair last year, they only lasted a year but as I said horses make short work of footwear. I only didn't buy another long pair for this winter as they have fur around the tops and get sick of knocking hay ans straw off my socks. The muck boots are much better from that point of view.

I have knee length Grubb boots. They also do ankle length. They are lovely. So comfortable and my feet are toasty..Used to have Hunter wellies with fluffy boot liners but the Grubb boots are so much warmer with thin socks. I have had them for years and they are still as good as new. The foot part is solid and the leg part neoprene..

Dublin Tilly Boots, Black, Adults 6 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09F3Y68WL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I just got these, instantly comfortable, warm, and easy to get on and off that's to the zip. Good grip, too. Nice i can wear with jeans as shorter. I had knee-high Ariat country boots before, awesome for 5 years till the lining came away, and I got stuck in one!!

I bought a pair for dog walking and hated them they were very uncomfortable and clunky to walk in.
I bought lined waterproof boots in Lidl which are perfect wish I had bought them first I would have saved myself £££

I love mine.

I spend a significant portion of my life in fields and around dogs and horses. My footwear gets a lot of wear! I’ve just bought some neoprene wellies from Rydale and they are absolutely flipping amazing!! So warm and comfortable- hands down beat anything I’ve ever had before (and I’ve had the lot!) And comparatively inexpensive too.

I have a pair of these that are nearing the end of their life - but they must be about 12 years old.
Love them and got comfier with age until recently when they've started to sag

Afteropening, Calf, it's very muddy/deep puddles where I walk 😆 * *

I cant wear mine - they rub and cause blisters. They are very stiff and unforgiving. I live in my leather Tuffa boots in the winter - use lots of dubbin and they are pretty much waterproof unless you're wading through rivers (and I have done that)
