What's the quality of Uniqlo's lambswool though? I know their merino is good but I've heard bad reviews of lambswool jumpers.

In my - entirely personal - experience, it's shite. Admittedly AH might well have used a better supplier but I'm not inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Ah, that’s interesting. I love their merino jumpers. Hoped the lambs wool would also be good. Might skip the green jumper then. I just love the colour, but no point if it’s not good quality.

Yeah I've found their merino to be pretty decent but I don't have a good word to say about either their lambswool or their cashmere. To be fair though, there are other posters who rate it so I think it's probably a consistency issue.

I have some cashmere pieces and they are great, very warm and thin too for layering. Wash well, no bobbling, they are from the men's range , if it makes a difference. I've never been in store so not sure how they compare.

In all honesty if you don’t like the eyes just but a plain beanie. I don’t see the point of unpicking the eyes.

I got the green jumper. I have bought a few lambswool jumpers from Uniqlo over the years and they wash well on a cold wool cycle.
What colour did you get? If it's too small then sell it on Ebay. They are on there already for crazy prices!

I got an orange jumper. It was all they had left! I do like the whole range though.

I got a 2 jumpers, a green one in size M and a navy in S. I played on the safe side as I'm usually a M in regular uniqlo, but some of their collabs have been larger and I've had to go down to a S. Will see what they're like when they arrive.

It all sold out very quickly! I wonder if they'll get many returns, probably not if people are selling on ebay.

I ordered a grey cashmere jumper, a beanie, socks and the canvas bag. I wish I’d ordered the green jumper as well now…I was put off by reports on quality. I have enough though.

Ordered the jumper in size M…hope that wasn’t a mistake, just see it’s unisex…I’m a size 10, but 6ft tall so hoping the length on the M will work better.

I decided last night that I won’t need anything but then succumbed this morning afterall 🙄 was bit too late though (it was about 7:30am) and only orange jumpers left. Would have liked the grey one ideally. But the orange is a nice shade of all the oranges so should be ok. Ordered size S. Also got a green packable bag.

Would have loved some socks too but they were all gone already.

Gah, I missed this, and had signed up for a reminder! I only wanted the orange jumper which people seem to have bought reluctantly… oh well. It’s all sold out now. Not paying silly prices on eBay.

I ordered the green jumper in xl and the green hat. I woke up early so caught it, didn't realise it would launch so early.

I expect they will get returns. Annoying ebayers, some photos taken in the shop.

Went into store around lunchtime and managed to buy the socks and cashmere jumper I wanted (beautiful cut and details IRL!). The women's lambswool jumpers had all sold out by then, but I was able to try the kids' version (with the nice raglan shoulder that I preferred anyway) and found the size 13 entirely wearable, albeit with 3/4 length sleeves. FWIW I am definitely not usually able to shop in the children's section but at 5'7" bust 33" the 13 was a reasonable boxy fit in the body and a good waist length (definitely not cropped). Hope this helps someone in case of a future restock!

EDIT: really shocked they didn't have a one item/style/person policy as they've done for previous collabs, if the ebay scalpers are anything to go by.

Can’t believe how quickly it sold out…my daughter woke up at 6.30am and I decided to check if it was live, not really expecting it to be. Everything was in stock then, it sounds like most was gone an hour later.

I got the jumper in grey and navy and the cashmere in black.
I love the jumpers and regret not getting the green! They're warm and soft and definitely better quality than the regular shetland and you can turn the sleeve so the eyes are less visible. The cashmere is a bit wide at the end so I'm not thrilled with it but depends on your shape.

I'm usually a medium but bought them all in small.

With a couple of the Uniqlo Shetland jumpers in XS (which have fared fine when washed in cold water and debobbled) that's my top half sorted for winter!

The Comptoir des Cotonniers x Uniqlo brushed jersey wide legged trousers are also fantastic - so warm and look really smart when belted and with shirt tucked in. They're as cosy and easy as pjs but look great with heels - come up big so if you've a small waist I'd go down a size with them. They wash well on 30 degrees, I'd suggest ironing in the crease pleats to keep them looking a bit tailored. So did they ever restock or are people just now receiving orders from the original drop? Not that I need another jumper but fancied the orange one.

I just received a postal order - I placed the order a few minutes after the collection was released. I understand there will be some re-stocking

There was stock online this morning, I ordered another jumper, fingers crossed I get it, I really like the things I received.
