saw a picture in Sunday Times on a 15% off promotion - really lovely green cardigan...

It is, but the quality is good - I stick to the sales

bundle · 11/03/2008 12:37

White Company too - just thought of that...

Brora stuff is made in Scotland, not China, and I think the quality is far far better. I'd expect a Brora cardie to last really well. Is it a chunky one? I was salivating over those last year...

bundle · 11/03/2008 12:41

there was a piece on woman's hour about how to tell the "real" stuff apart - they have an archive..

MaryAnnSingleton · 11/03/2008 12:41

no, is a thin classic twinset stylee round necked one

the raglan detail is quite nice but it doesn't look worth that much

EffiePerine · 11/03/2008 12:46

I think it was this one I liked

brora.co.uk/Product/Product.aspx?WebShopCodeStr=SL&WebSegmentCodeStr=S2&WebCategoryCodeStr=ZM&StyleC odeStr=AQ675

MaryAnnSingleton · 11/03/2008 12:47

mm, that is lovely

OP posts:
bundle · 11/03/2008 12:47

EP that's gorgeous

EffiePerine · 11/03/2008 12:48

chunky cashmere feels much more luxurious IMO.

bundle · 11/03/2008 12:49

tbh if i was going to spend that much I'd knit it with pure cashmere (did some wrist warmers around christmas, they're incredibly warm and luxurious)

some gorgeous colours here (tis quite a chunky yarn)

EffiePerine · 11/03/2008 13:06

Now this I am very tempted by

brora.co.uk/Product/Product.aspx?WebShopCodeStr=SL&WebSegmentCodeStr=S2&WebCategoryCodeStr=CE&StyleC odeStr=LQ965

exactly the wring thing for summer though

MaryAnnSingleton · 11/03/2008 13:09

I cannot, cannot afford to buy anything, no matter how lovely - sob !

OP posts:
bundle · 11/03/2008 13:09

gosh their dresses are all nice

too small for my fat arse though

EffiePerine · 11/03/2008 13:11

the wool one would stretch - the other dresses tend to gape a bit on me. I am NOT spending over £100 quid on a dress I will wear rarely and will prob be eated by moths before the autumn

hoxtonchick · 11/03/2008 13:11

that's lovely ep.

uniqlo cashmere is very good, i have some great long cardigans from there that i've been wearing all winter.

bundle · 11/03/2008 13:13
