Selling a pile of clothes on Vinted - am I in for a headache?

Does anyone have any experience of selling a lot of items at once on Vinted?

Am I in for a logistical nightmare of things selling at different times, constant trips to the post office and endless messages trying to undercut the price? I've never sold things before so I have no basis for comparison.

I've been losing a lot of weight over the past 18 months so I'm building up a pile of clothes that I've been growing out of at different stages. I binned a lot of stuff that was worn out as I moved down the sizes but I've kept the things that are decent quality and good condition and I'll have more in the next month or two as I approach my goal. Probably 15-20 shirts in total (at least), a couple of coats/blazers and even a custom frock coat from halloween 🤣. Mostly supermarket and high street brand, M&S and some Dixxon Flannel. I'm not desperate for the money but I'm going on a big holiday in March so the savings could definitely do with a boost.

Has anyone done something similar on Vinted and was the hassle worth it?

Also, it's all mens clothing in case that makes a difference.

Buy a job lot of mailing bags on Amazon and it makes your life a lot easier. I bought them in a nice bright colour and bought some coloured tissue to make it feel nicer for the buyer and I've had 100% 5 feedback so far.*
I’m the opposite. I reuse old delivery bags, old plastic bags, or brown paper (for the environment). It doesn’t look fancy at all and I get 100% 5stars.

No need to waste money (and plastic) if you don’t want to. The main things sellers are looking for are honest descriptions and fast postage.

Home bargains are good for this and jiffy bags. Very cheap from there.

You can change your delivery options to ones that suit you. I only ever sell via Inpost as there's a locker on the next street. Before I realised you could do this I was running between 4 different drop off places.

You can also use chatgpt to write descriptions if you really can’t be arsed. Obviously you will need to feed it a basic list of item, colour, size etc.

Oh, no, don't do that. What a waste of your time and the time of people browsing.

ChatGPT doesn't know your item. If you can feed it in to ChatGPT, you can put it in the description box yourself. Nobody browsing through Vinted wants or expects flowery marketing language.

"Short-sleeved Banana Republic top in size M. Dark green. Colour slightly faded on the inside collar, not visible when worn. 100% cotton." There's a reasonably full description. Even better would be to follow it up with "Length: 65 cm; pit-to-pit 45 cm; shoulder width 40 cm", but sadly, not everyone gives measurements.

No, not if you list them properly with clear images, not only of the clothes themselves, but the size label and fabric content labels. Be sure to add measurements too.

The aim is really to make as little work for yourself once you've listed, so try to stop any questions being asked by adding as much information as possible.

Set aside an afternoon for taking pictures and writing copy. Afterwards, put items away with suitable packing materials. This way, once things sell, you're good to go.

Make sure you go to your settings and select which postage options work best for you. If you can only post on certain days, include it in your listing. Don't print the label until you're ready to post as you only get x number of days to post once the label prints.

Price realistically, but also consider adding on 10-30% so that way, people can think they're getting a bargain when they make a lower offer than the listed price. Everyone loves to think they're getting a deal!

I sold loads off stuff recently. It was several trips to Tesco express. I was most concerned about getting stuff mixed up. Made £300 though.
