£1 black Oodie- did anyone actually get one or was it just a data phishing marketing gimic?

Just that really, followed the link to register a few days ago... handed over my email address and other details.followed the countdown and link to the site - nope sold out.

I knowing shouldn't be surprised/annoyed. They're probably not even worth it.

Annoyingly the site crashed when I refreshed at 7. Then couldn’t work out if there was a special link or just bung one in the basket, so searched for black Oodie and then it was unsurprisingly all too late.
Shame as we love our Oodies in this house.

I didn’t get one. I’ve unsubscribed this morning.

They’d have been better giving them for £1 as an off the cuff purchase for anyone actually buying. Something to reduce their price to £1. Will be interesting to see how many end up on eBay or Vinted in the coming days. I think that will show if any were actually sold.

I had one in my basket, it kept saying the wait time was 1 minute to check out but it was doing that for 30 minutes (I held on in the hope I'd eventually check out in case the site was being slow due to traffic) then it suddenly changed to sold out.
I've also unsubscribed, petty but it felt good!

And now they've deleted all of the negative comments about this on their top Instagram post! How very short sighted of them.

What a shit PR stunt. And a great way to harbour bad feeling.

I was able to complete check out with the £1 Oodie, but it went through at full price. Been arguing with CS all day, they just keep reiterating that it was a very popular promo and sold out quickly and wasn't a scam (I've never insinuated that it was), rather than reading my message. I was able to purchase the promo item (so presumably it was in stock) but the discount didn't carry over. Will be cancelling if not, it's not worth £89.
