‘Glowy’ skin advice

Tinks15 · 05/11/2023 22:32

Ladies that have that lovely ‘glowy’ skin…what product do you swear by that gives that ‘glowy’ skin look?
I try to look after my skin always cleanse, moisturise & use SPF 50 but it still somehow looks quite dull.

Advise or any suggestions please?

Tret and nothing else except an ordinary moisturiser.

I'm interested in knowing what different ceramide moisturizer is everyone using? Is the choice according to skin type?

This one is great & really cheap!

I took up jogging. My skin looked amazing. Then I stopped. Now it does not.

Try jogging.

this!! my skin was great when I used to do exercise that made me proper sweaty.

Thanks. Will give them a go.

I'm a bit reticent to try retinol/tret, but others swear by it. What's working for me:
Daily

  • Sali Hughes Vitamin C serum in the morning, followed by Origins GinZing moisturiser
  • Evening: double cleanse with a balm followed by CeraVe face wash, and Origins Night A Mins moisturiser

2-3 times per week

  • AHA toner
  • Rosehip oil as a night moisturiser

I also look more glowy with makeup on, particularly the Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser and a Bobbi Brown cream blush. All of the lifestyle stuff really matters though, my skin definitely looks better when I've been drinking lots of water/exercising regularly/eating well than when I don't (e.g. at Christmas).

Thanks everyone so many good suggestions. I shall have a look at them.
I really must up my water intake though - I don’t drink anywhere near enough!

Re the tret I’ve actually tried it before & didn’t get on too well with it but I know people rave about it.

I forgot to say, Clinique Light Reflecting primer is great for giving you a glow. I’ve been using it with just some blush or bronzer and really like. Much quicker than waiting for extra water and jogging to kick in.
