As the title says, recommendations please for anti wrinkle/aging skin face cream/moisturiser. Mid 30's and starting to notice wrinkles around my eyes.

Use creams with retinol in them.

OooohAhhhh · 04/11/2023 20:39

0 - they are all crap and don't work.
Drinking Water/ hydration is all you need.
I use normal moisturiser to stop my face feeling dry tho.

Use retinol/tretinoin and wear sunscreen everyday.

For me it’s Number 7 protect and perfect advanced.

Ignore the advice about retinol and tret as these shouldn't be used near the eyes.

Wear sunglasses 😎, I've worn glasses since I was 14 and have next to no lines around my eyes, I suspect it's due to the shadow from the glasses. I'm very nearly 60.

If you go to YouTube and look for Cassandra Bankson eye cream she tells you how to work out what type of cream you should use as it's the reason your eyes are wrinkled/ dark under eyes etc and they need different creams

Look at skin and me website you can get Tretonoin which works abd be monitored by dermatologists. Free trial for month I can give you code for if you want. Think you just pay £3.50 postage.

Look at the medik8 range. Their retinals are pretty good and you can start light and build up the potency.

You can use retinoids around the eyes if they are the correct type.

Eye creams are, however, definitely a waste of money.

The only ingredient proven to work on wrinkles is vitamin A as above.

Start slowly, with a 0.3 concentration if it's retinol and work up. Remember it's a long game. No retinol/vitamin A will make you look immediately younger, but in 6-12 months you'll think "by heck I look good for my age".
