Under chin pleats

Apart from a facelift, can anything be done about those weird concertina pleats that run from front to back under a chubby chin? Not tech neck.

I know, I’m ravishing. Grin

Gaffer tape round the back of your neck and wear your hair down?

heyhohello · 07/11/2023 21:57

Or one of those electronic devises that make you twitch? Might firm the area up. Or body brushing can help crepey skin.

But the best? Don't wear your glasses when you look in the mirror. Or don't clean the mirror. Either works. 😁

You could try an RF treatment. I have a mlay machine to use at home and it gives some improvement.
Other options if you don't mind something invasive would be threads or filler in the jaw line to lift it.
Meanwhile the wrong neckline makes it worse so avoid anything that sits under the pleats.

Profhilo would be excellent for that sort of thing.

Ive got these, they are definite pleats, like swags on a curtain pelmet under my chin

Im going to have to have surgery once I work out exactly whats needed and how to source it.

I wear a lot of scarves

TheLonelyGoatTurd · 07/11/2023 23:53

Ooh, is one of those Bear machine things an RF machine? I like the idea of sitting in front of the telly blasting my pleats.

I need to do some research into Profhilo and threads. Threads scare me a bit though, isn’t it basically like putting a running stitch through your skin then hoiking it up?

Hair isn’t long enough to be helpful, but I do like a cosy scarf in the winter. Perhaps a combo of scarf for coverage and cleavage for pleat distraction?

I have those. I thought mine was just a scraggy neck
