and what to wear! I am over 40, 5ft5 and a size 12. I want to look sleek, classic and expensive IYSWIM - but like it is effortless . I think black or dark is the way to go but I am at a loss...PLEASE HELP

The silver trousers and grey knit looks great. They've done a post on their website for the best silver pieces to buy at the moment.

You can't go wrong with a chevron top from Tabatha Webb. They are to die for.

Sadly I don't own any but if I could I'd go for the blue one for day/work with navy trousers and the black and gold for a night out.

OP - just wear something simple and coherent. If you are offered the job, you'll be given an excellent discount on the clothing, possibly even a clothing allowance too. All you need to do in the interview is dress well - go for understated chic (and well-pressed) or along the lines of the brand's signature style, and dazzle them with your personality, experience and skill-set. It is these things they're really interested in and will get you the job, not your ability to wear the latest thing.
