Good morning,

Can any of you help me? I am looking for a very light fragrance perfume to wear for everyday (shopping, lunches out, children in tow).

I am not keen on musk but other than that happy to try anything.

I have a low budget but if it is excellent, I can wait for the sales. What would you recommend?

Thanks

Gorgeous- but I wouldn’t call it light.

I feel citrus scents are ‘light’ because they are fresh and the opposite of cloying.

Agree with having a sniff around M&S.

Another classic but underrated scent is Elizabeth Arden Green Tea. It's front of mind as someone mentioned it yesterday. And it's soo cheap, you'll probably find a 30ml for a tenner.

My DM loved this. Another similar but discontinued one was Trussardi Skin.

For £30 some of the Other Stories ones are pleasant but I soundly risk buying online, don't think the descriptions match the scents.

Their candles also smell a lot more expensive than they are.

I love scent of a dream by Charlotte tilbury. Its discontinued but can get on ebay (i bought 3 bottles knowing tbd).
I wear heavy perfumes, chanel 5...marc jacobs intense..etc .but original ghost and scent of dream are lighter x

My favourite is YSL Libre
M&S do a few fresh and light fragrances in their Discovery range for every day

My everyday (well, any day/occasion) perfumes are Jimmy Choo’s original fragrance and Lady Million by Paco Rabanne. Both have pear top notes and are clean, fresh fragrances.
