Can’t wear earrings any more?

My ears were pierced as a teenager, ie decades ago. No problems until recently, but in recent months earrings (even the more expensive ones) make my ear lobes sore, I can get them in ok, but pulling them out is really sore, then sometimes the holes blister. This takes a few days to settle each time, then I try again and the whole cycle starts again. Any ideas?

Same here. My holes have closed up now, which is such a shame. I can't wear clip ons either, they hurt because they squeeze too tightly to stay on!

Yes happened to me, too after around 10 yrs of wearing earrings, even sterling silver ones. It's a nickel allergy.

I bought some clip ones from Temu and they don't pinch but are secure. A similar pair that I inherited from my MiL pinch quite badly
