Desperately need help

Went real life shopping today and couldn't find anything so hoping Mumsnet can help 🤞🏼

I need an outfit for a Christmas party. Everything I saw today was full on sequins and it all felt too much
Looking for probably a dress or a jumpsuit but open to options
Nothing strappy or strapless, nothing backless or high neck line either.
Looking for sexy but elegant

I'm 5'4, brown hair and eyes, pale but will fake tan and I'm a size 12
Budget £100 or so

Any suggestions or pointers or outfits anyone has seen?

Some beautiful clothes here. I love the dress that @waltzingparrot posted, but where would I wear it? For my work Xmas drinks people just come in whatever they wore to the office. Last year I had on a jumper with moth holes (whoops) and I mainly talked to guys in faded old t-shirts. Someone in a nice dress like that would stick out a mile, and not in a good way.

I'm looking but I find it so difficult to get an idea of the shape of things when they are just photographed on a hanger rather than a model

I like the classic style but a little too like office wear for what I'm looking for

Love this! Gorgeous and I'd even forgive the fact it's sleeveless but unfortunately I think it's a little too formal

Maybe take the pressure off and look for a basic black dress instead of a Christmas party outfit. Then glam it up with accessories and some bold lipstick? Red if you like it.
