Why is everything CROPPED?!

I’m so tired of seeing something I like and it’s bloody cropped. I don’t like cropped, I don’t want to wear cropped. Cropped tops, T-shirts, jumpers, even bloody fleeces and coats!

I have been after a fitted broderie cami like the picture for AGES but they’re all cropped! If they’re not then they’re floaty and I don’t want floaty. It’s annoying because five years ago they would have been easy to find, but now it’s go without and have my gunt peeking out below

I really hope the cropped craze calms down soon.

No thanks, I don't want a long top with a high waist. It's too bulky. My midriff is always covered.

I dont mind the current cropped trend as I'm short - so often comes up normal length on me. It's nice to have something that actually fits my proportions for once!

Wear big knickers with it and tuck the top in.

I don't mind tucking in a shirt or a T. I don't want to tuck in a hoody or a jumper. And I always wear big pants.

That's not quite the look I had in mind. The knickers need to be Bridget Jones-style big nix. ideally in an elastoplast shade.

Are those separate pants or are they an integral part of the trousers?

I think the styles in general are pretty awful at the moment and the quality of garments has gone down drastically since the pandemic. Plus everything is shapeless and grey, beige or muddy brown. Perhaps a reflection on the general low mood de nos jours.

I was out shopping yesterday and saw a woman wearing a lovely yellow jumper, and it looked nice and cheerful.

I didn’t mean it rudely!! Apologies if it came across like that! I overuse the exclamation mark in the hope of that not happening, but I think it backfired on me on this occasion

Either cropped or oversized - does my head in. Let them have babies and hopefully make a normal garment.

It's infuriating! Either cropped just below the tits or massive sacks halfway down the thighs. I have an incredibly average body shape and just want some vaguely fitted garments that stop at waist level.

I wore shapeless oversized clothes in the 90s. I wore short tops/low rise jeans (with the accompanying Waist Draught) in the 00s. I am now middle aged and just want CLOTHES THAT FIT.

I agree, clothes are pretty much awful at the moment. Ok if you want oversized (I just look huge and I’m a 12), horrendous sludgy colours or cropped.
