I like this but £50 is too much for a casual top.

I am SO fed up with being an enormous great manatee, waddling around saying 'oof' a lot.

Am starting to dream about post baby clothes. Wouldn't this be fab for breastfeeding? And great for spring?

But £50 is way too much. Or is it? Would I get a lot of wear out of it?

Has anyone seen anything similar?

Uniqlo has tops like that in stock all the time. they are about £12 normally!

BibiThree · 07/03/2008 22:17

Okay, with a new baby will you really have the time to make sure it's washed often enough to wear it enough to justify £50?
Not casting aspersions (sp?) on your housework abilities, just remembering my own just after bubbas were born

Ack! Handwash or dryclean only???

Bibi you are wise.

Off to check out Uniqlo.

Hmm yes, too many ££.

Not sure the buttons would undo low enough for bf (if that's what you were intending) - you'd have to pull it up. Which makes it no more suitable than any other top

Tis v nice though.

LyraSilvertongue · 07/03/2008 22:22

It doesn't seem special enough for £50. You can get something similar for far less, I'm sure.

Maidamess · 07/03/2008 22:24

ok not exactly the same but great for layering and who cares if you get puke all over it

Oh, the puke. I'd forgotten about the puke.

Right. So that's a 'no' on the £50 dryclean only top for new baby maintenance then?

Maidamess - that would do the job but it makes me feel glum.

Cali - I'm rather tired now so I'll try and remember to click your link tomorrow or maybe the next day .
