Jawline filler, are obvious lumps normal at first?

I've just got jaw filler for the first time and it's really lumpy, particularly on one side. It feels and looks like I have 3 marbles under my skin

The injector is a HCP and all above board so I'm sure everything was done correctly but I'm a bit apprehensive as I was warned there will be swelling but wasn't expecting this.

I've sent her a message but she hasn't seen it yet.

Is this normal?

Bloody hell. Never again.

What she meant was that it's illegal to inject dissolver so soon (one day) after inserting the filler, I'm assuming emergencies are the exception if there is any truth to that.

I too wonder if she doesn't have any available hence not confirming she'll dissolve them for me after I made clear that's what I want.

Lumps aside it's not even symmetrical.

If it's not symmetrical I would personally go and find someone who comes highly recommended, who can even it up rather than dissolving the lot.

Like PP said maybe just get the obvious lumps dissolved.

Did she take before photos?

She took before and after photos yes, I haven't seen them but will ask to.

The lumps are ever so slightly less prominent today and I look less like buzz lightyear on crack. I'll monitor the situation over the next few days. I told her I'll give it until next Thursday and if there are still lumps then I'll need it sorting.

@tobeornottobe1 Honestly, what a strange response from you.
No one needs to be a qualified practitioner to know that the OP's experience isn't right.

As for the 'beloved Dr Mountford' you sarcastically refer to, I have doubts that she or her team would have worked with the OP, once she'd completed their extensive questionnaire. They don't do injectables ' to order' but after a thorough consultation (but if you have never been, you won't know.)

There is also a massive difference between the training and experience of someone like Dr Mountford, and the other doctors on her team, and the nurse who did this procedure.

That's not to say there will never be adverse reactions, but these tend to be allergic reactions not misplaced filler.

@Lumpsandbumps4
How are you? How's your jaw looking today? X
