Chelsea boots that you can walk for miles in, and don't need much breaking in

I need some black chelsea type boots for work. They dont have to be super smart as the dress code has been dropped somwwhat since covid.

My commute involves a lot of walking. If they're fairly weather proof that would be good.

The main thing iI want - and this is very important - is for them to comfortable from the off. I don't want to spend weeks breaking them in, and I don't want to end up half way to work and realise I have a blisters. Too many bad experiences with boots! I think my feet are pathetically sensitive as I normally live in trainers!

Hotter boots are incredibly comfy. I know they are considered a bit dowdy but they are incredibly kind to feet

I have Clark’s Taylor Shine Chelsea boots. They took barely any breaking in ( I absolutely hate breaking in shoes!) and have lasted for years. They are coming to the end of their life now and I will replace with the exact same ones.

Timberland! I have them in black leather and brown suede and spend most of summer waiting for the weather to allow me wear them again. They are like hugs for your feet and some of the models come in half sizes.

Blundstones are great and really last

FitFlop. Their chelsea boots are more casual looking than many above and expensive (though there are often offers for new customers) but absolutely super comfortable from day 1.

This! I’ve worn FitFlops for a few years now, and recently got some of their Chelsea boots - no breaking in needed at all; they were comfy from the start.
