on a scale of 1-10 just how crazy would it be to crochet a dress?

Their is a picture of my mum (holding a 6 week old me) wearing a crotched dress. It was in the 70's and she was a 5'8" leggy redhead, she was also very thin. The dress was gorgeous and very short. Go for it.

I had one a few years ago, it looked good with loads of stuff. I do think you'd be mad as a bag of spanners to attempt to make one though. 14 out of 10.

Go for it if you've got the figure to carry it off. Crocheted dresses look absolutely stunning on a slim woman.

BTW my mum used to crochet clothes for us and she said it was far easier and faster than knitting - which she did as well.

A FARKING BIKINI

To take on our hols to Spain for "paddling & splashing in the pool".

Er...wool....water...hot sun.....

needless to say my mum "forgot" to pack it
