A bit in jest clearly but I feel like I've started to look more like Lord Farquaad each day with my hair!

I'm just struggling to style my thick, slightly wavy hair.

Cut all of it off whilst pregnant and donated it to a charity who makes wigs for children with cancer as I always had lovely compliments about how thick and shiny it was. I hope it made a lovely wig and has made a tough time a little better for someone's little one...

Anywho it's growing out now and is almost shoulder length but unless it's blow dried and then straightened it just looks a mess. Still can't tie it back and so I thought I would add a fringe and now I really look like Lord Farquaad from shriek 😂

I'd rather not straighten it and find a way to style it quickly either heatless or with a styling tool which makes it easy.
When I had long hair I just used to chuck in heated rollers and it would be done but this short hair I'm really struggling!!

Any advice very much welcome!

I did the same as you! Now it's grown to shoulder length hair and very wavy too, mines quite fine though but could you try scrunching with mousse after it's still damp from washing then leaving to dry?
And I tend to put a Velcro roller in the fringe part which gives it a bit of volume

Fringes grow super quick. I always get one and then regret it immediately but honestly, once it gets to the stage where you can sweep it to one side it’s easy enough to manage. It won’t take long.

How is it you can’t tie your hair back if it’s nearly shoulder length?

You’ll be fine in a couple of weeks, with your slightly longer fringe and either a pony tail or half-up-half down.

It's wavy and so if I try to tie it back I can't get all of it in a pony tail 🙄

Lucky fringes do grow quickly .... I hate it!
The hairdresser took too much off and it looks awful. I could have cut it better myself I think haha teaches me a lesson and reminder about fringes

I'll try it out! Just wish it would look fine on its own but I'm not that lucky with my waves
