And how are you styling them?

@Sparehair they are brilliant. I have had the mid blue ones for a while, and recently bought the black for winter. I just love them.

@Cantonet i have the button fly M&S jeans - from early 22? I find they look great first on and then really stretch out as the day goes on.

Yes they do @Judystilldreamsofhorses but I quite like them soft n slouchy. Plus I have real sensory issues over tight jeans with a high % of elastane these days. I just can't wear them any more.

I can’t stand high waisted jeans so I wear Pepe Piccadilly mid rise. They are boot cut.

For skinny jeans I wear Zara mid rise in black. Really comfy and don’t lose their stretch

Found an amazing fitting jean from Momosh - can't believe it after all this time!

These look amazing! Website says they don't ship to the UK, did you buy them in a shop?

NancyJoan · 30/09/2023 16:05

Fairly high waisted, dark denim, wide legs. I haven’t worn jeans in years, but I am loving these.

Hooples · 30/09/2023 16:14

Slim mom jeans & the barrel shape (still wide but they taper in at the ankle) They are the most flattering on me. I’ve never quite committed to wide leg full length.
I’ll be wearing with oversized cream/oatmeal jumpers or overshirts with stripe tee/plain bodysuit underneath, Nike waffles/New Balance or my Birks Boston clogs & wool socks.

Diesel Skinnies as usual. Got 10 pairs in various blues and blacks. Adore them. Will be wearing with the same Fred Perry, Moncler & Lacoste polo shirts that I always do with converse!

JemOfAWoman · 30/09/2023 18:40

My local (North Yorkshire) independent department store stocks them. It’s very good at finding unusual brands!

Don't let some bitchy immature princess make you feel self conscious @desikated. Shame the next generation would be judging another woman just going about their day, but one bad apple and all that I guess. I bet your cute toddler will grow up with better manners!

EricInk · 30/09/2023 19:28

I too have gone back to skinnies

Mom jeans/wide leg are just so unflattering and with the exception of trainers are hard to pair with shoes

joan12 · 30/09/2023 19:32

7 for all mankind skinnies I'm afraid! And some Mint Velvet black skinnies. And a few pairs of black Boden ones. I have baggier styles from Baukjen in black and White Company in grey but they only look OK on me, whereas I think I really suit the others. I wouldn't care what some teenager thought. My 14 year old is head to toe in baggy everything!

Crucible · 30/09/2023 19:39

Levi 725. Dark blue or black.

BarelyCoping123 · 30/09/2023 19:41

Low-cut skinnies - forever

Custardcreambiccy · 30/09/2023 20:05

Gap 90s Loose jeans. So great to find mid-rise as I look hideous with high waisted trousers. Also loose fitting in the legs, but not too wide

I can't 'thanks' as on app but FlowersFlowersFlowers . Also heartened by many comments on here saying skinny / slim jeans. Hooray! Also motivated to look at some other types.

FluffyCatBonzo · 30/09/2023 21:29

I was in a very posh town the other day and every woman I saw had skinnies on - admittedly all kids would be at school or college.

MaryLennoxsScowl · 01/10/2023 08:34

And Other Stories barrel leg, three years old, still feel great. I’ve a pair of Topshop wide-legs I bought before Topshop closed down, and a pair of pleated super wide-leg from Free People, but I can’t wear either of those if it’s going to rain. The barrel ones don’t touch the ground so avoid the noughties’ dirty water thing.

MaryLennoxsScowl · 01/10/2023 08:44

Skinnies never suited me particularly so I happily ditched them as soon as other styles appeared in shops, I got a new job in 2017 and I don’t think I’ve worn skinnies since before that, so I probably adopted mom jeans c.2015 and I’d just bought a pair of balloon jeans from Zara when Covid hit, so they barely got worn but I did wear pleated ankle-length wide-leg jeans nearly constantly throughout lockdown as they were so comfy. They’re faded to pale blue and really scruffy now but still feel current.
