Odd one - Something for my elbow

This is a bit niche and requires a bit of a backstory. A couple of months ago I tripped, fell and shattered my elbow. It's mostly healed now, I can nearly straighten it fully, but the wires that hold my elbow together are causing me issues. Elbows are bony joints. The pins that anchor the wires protrude slightly under the skin and I can feel the wires. The skin on my elbow, around the wires and surgery scar is sensitive and any knock or even cloth rubbing on it can be quite painful.

As a result I've been wearing an elbow sleeve which helps quite a bit.

This is where I need some help. Currently the sleeve I wear is an athletic one, is not particularly nice and is a particularly unattractive shade of green https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0986VGBQ3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

I'm going to have to wait for another 4 months before I can even go on the waiting list to have the wires removed. So I would like something a bit more attractive and possibly even softer in the meantime. It doesn't have to be anything with loads of elastic like the current one. Preferably something in a neutral colour, grey or black perhaps. I've had a look on Etsy but with no luck.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Have you tried searching 'soft elbow pads' on Amazon?
Would a padded sanitary or incontinence pad with sticky side attached on inner fabric of the sleeve work?

Thanks. The problem with the pad idea is menopause. I'm subject to hot flushes so I mostly wear short sleeves. And Amazon's soft elbow pads just return more or less what I'm wearing now.

I'm after something a bit like this https://eczemaclothing.com/products/therapeutic-arm-sleeve-100-organic-cotton?variant=41074687180859&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=PMax-All&gclid=Cj0KCQjwpc-oBhCGARIsAH6ote-mfIwlBifKEqY3QuPEZVwpV79eKzXIbm42maqi0VR4ANAOeCaII8gaAqiREALw_wcB but shorter and more attractive

I'd say a compression sleeve is what you are looking for - Jobst, Mediven, or Sigvaris sell them direct as then you don't get it moving around. If you just want a light cover, then try searching UV sleeves on ebay. They come in loads of colours

Ooohhh I like the sheepskin . Perfect for the office chair arm dilemma, but not practical for everyday wear and unfortunately not menopausal hot flush proof.

Thanks. Legwarmers for arms was what I was trying to articulate. If I'm having to wear them for at least 4 months, cashmere may well be a good option

Maybe chat to Turtle Doves who make the lovely recycled cashmere gloves etc, they might have a piece of sleeve or something that could be worked into what you need.

Thank you everyone. I've ordered a Turtle Doves leg warmers, which was conveniently on sale. And I may get a limb keepers one as well

Just a thought - you can buy UV protective "arms" for road cycling - all sorts of colours and patterns. Might be worth a look?
