Heatless curler tips

Hi!
I purchased a knock off Kitsch Heatless curler. I'm rubbish at anything to do with my hair so didn't want to spend loads on it. But I'm been really impressed!! My hair was really curly, so will definitely do it again.
The curls felt they needed a bit of definition though, so looking for any hair care products anyone can recommend so the curls look lovely and last?

Hair mousse on wet hair before you use the curler. I use the pantene number 3 one. Once the curls have set you can gently break up the crunch and it'll keep the curls in all day.

Thank you!!it says to only have slightly damp hair, so shall I put the moose in before/ after I dry it?

Definitely on the damp hair beforehand.
Disclaimer, I've never used a heatless curler because I am naturally curly but putting mousse on when it's wet has transformed me from frizz bomb to curly. So I assume would work for you.

Thank you, going to try again tonight 😬

Only just slightly damp though, or it’ll still be damp in the morning and all your efforts will be lost. I find it works best on my very thick hair if it’s almost totally dry, carefully combed through so there’s no kinks to ‘set’ too, then wrap, then put a silk bonnet on to sleep. It’s lucky the curls look good as I am quite a sight at bedtime.

My husband has just laughed at me as I've come into the living room looking like a poor Princess Leia 🤣🤣. I've found it hard to keep the curls tight. It's tight, I have put the scrunchies on the end and then it feels like it kind of unwraps itself and feels looser. Need to keep practising 🤦🏻‍♀️

Make sure you hold the curler straight down and stationary, and are wrapping your hair around the curler. Not twisting them both round if that makes sense.

I just use a thick dressing gown cord, no products before hand and a bit of olaplex oil the next day and the curls/waves last 2/3 days.

I did it Tuesday night and Wednesday morning they looked really good! By Wednesday afternoon most of it had dropped as it was so frizzy that I kept touching it trying to smooth it down 🤦🏻‍♀️
