My skin!! Turned to crepe

I’ve got olive skin dark hair. Periods stopped last September at 51. Not had one since .During the year my skin has become like that of a 70 year old. By my armpits and inside of elbows are actual crepe wrinkled skin.

I do love the sun so not expecting fab skin but this is ridiculous. What to do? Too late for HRT ? Collagen? More water? It’s depressing and after having pretty good skin thanks to my natural colouring I don’t feel like myself or wear clothes I like.

@Indiacalling . That’s made me a bit teary. Thank you.

I am completely with you on the single mum thing too. The relentless keeping on top of it all sucks out the fun.
Mine is now adult. I spend a lot of time thinking how I should have been a better mum and 20 years on I look and feel like I’ve aged 30 years. I ‘m not sure it’s even the vanity aspect really - I never minded getting old. It’s feeling and looking older than I should.

I'd definitely get myself on HRT. And I'd also look at dermarolling.

I can't help you OP, just wanted to point out to all those moaning at you for daring to care about your appearance - OP has posted on the Style and Beauty board, it's a board for people who care about their appearance, please stop trying to silence her by telling her she shouldn't care. She does care and it's not as if it's a totally impossible question with zero solutions so she has to face reality. Women across the country indulge in various anti-ageing measures, with varying degrees of success. It's not unreasonable for her to ask about them
