Yes and no. Some of it is Boden on horseback. I have a nearby store (by the sea!) and it is quite nice stuff. Have good sales and there trousers are a great fit (on me anyway)

MaryAnnSingleton · 04/03/2008 16:50

yes, have seen their stand at agricultural shows - just thought it might be a be horsey for m,e, though I love anything saily-y- but perhaps not with joules written all over it !

dd has a very cute dress from joules (outlet ) with a kind of ferny pattern on it. nice colours too, nothing too saccharine & pink. oh, & i have a good cashmere wrap top.

scatterbrain · 04/03/2008 16:53

I got one too and I want to know why none of the things I like for dd go any bigger than an age 8 !!! What are they supposed to wear if they are a big 7 yr old - or god forbid - over 8 ???

I really liked the jersey cropped trousers - only £10 so loads cheaper than Boden - but not big enough !! And a gorgeous wonkey-donkey polo shirt !!!

Very disappointed !!!

Suspect though would be uniform de jour at point-to-points round here !

I've been sent a catalogue too. I just don't get it at all. Who would buy those weird blazes with piping on them? And those scarves tied sideways round the neck. It's what fashion editors call "jaunty".

You know it means we all belong in some marketing demographic though I have no idea which one.

redwino · 04/03/2008 18:07

Just had a look at their current range. It is nowhere near as nice as last summers or the winter range that has just gone. Who wears stuff like that?
Scatterbrain - they used to do bigger childrens clothes. In fact they had a teen range this time last year and the childrens stuff went up to 11 but now it stops at 8. Perhaps it didn't sell well.
I really love the wellies though.

Was tempted by the seaside scene dress for dd

MrsBadger · 04/03/2008 18:13

Not sure about the flowery hats in the "boisterous boys" section. Ds would get his head kicked in round here by some boisterous boys if he wore that and a kerchief . Then again he would refuse point blank to wear them
