Any ideas?

Someone recommended Revolution Eye Bright on here to me once, but it looks bad on me. Maybe you're only supposed to use a tiny bit.

You need a colour corrector under a concealer. Bobbi Brown do a good one - not cheap but lasts for ages.

Crispynoodle · 07/09/2023 23:37

Beverly Hills liquid miracle instant eye tuck and dark circle treatment really does work! I'm 57 and have been looking at stuff for my genetically inherited dark circles since my teens!

ZombieBoob · 07/09/2023 23:37

Orange colour corrector then concealer. I managed to Cover a black tattoo doing this.

AprilLady · 07/09/2023 23:37

Also came on to recommend Bobbi Brown corrector - it works wonders for me. It’s worth going to a Bobbi Brown counter and testing though to make sure you get the right shade.

Crabbity · 07/09/2023 23:38

Beauty Pie corrector is FAR superior to Bobbi Brown IMO. One of the very few corrector products I’ve found that can also be worn alone.

pastypirate · 07/09/2023 23:44

Il makiage I did the online quiz it's brilliant and well worth it

JimnJoyce · 08/09/2023 01:56

i second the Beauty Pie corrector

SiobahnRoy · 08/09/2023 02:01

Also recommend the Beauty Pie 💯

echt · 08/09/2023 02:20

I don't know if you can get it in the UK, but Thin Lizzy products. They are post-surgery bruising/birthmarks/scarring standard.

HappiDaze · 08/09/2023 03:03

I tried a Bobbi Brown concealer under my eyes in Boots the other day and it worked miracles on that days bags and under eye circles

It was a weird peach colour and it was in a tube with a wand

So yes I'd recommend trying it out

I don't normally suffer bags or under eye circles so it's not a product I usually need

Hi @porridgeisbae
Try taking an iron supplement or try Chlorella powder it's got loads of iron and other vitamins (from Holland and Barrett). It will help with under eye dark circles xx

I also agree the Bobbi Brown one is good. The colour looks strange, you think it will make them look worse, but definitely helps!

AlwaysFoldingWashing · 08/09/2023 08:14

Another Bobbi brown corrector fan! It helps neutralise the blue which makes it easier to cover.

Yep IDK if either of my parents have them severely, but there's a pic of me with them from 4 years old so I probably had them younger than that.

It's great how much products for all sorts of things have improved.

Great ideas everyone.

I think the one that dries is ‘My Perfect Eyes’. I was amazed for about a week but yes it goes crusty very quickly and is very hard to work with.

ScarlettSunset · 08/09/2023 13:40

Oh I'm going to look out for these too. I've spent every day since I was 14 covering my dark circles with what must be a ton of make-up.
I actually once won a Halloween competition for best zombie when I just went without makeup so I definitely need it.
Thanks OP for asking this question. I'd just sort of taken it for granted that there wasn't another way than I'd already been doing!

wheresmymojo · 08/09/2023 15:56

I've tried all the above mentioned ones (and more!) in the quest to cover up my eye bags...

The best I've found is Rodial which you can purchase at SpaceNK

If you're lighter than medium tone skin then I'd recommend trying the Banana Lowlighter

www.spacenk.com/uk/makeup/complexion/concealer/banana-lowlighter-MUK200028527.html

If you're more medium toned then try the Peaches Lowlighter

www.spacenk.com/uk/makeup/complexion/concealer/peach-lowlighter-MUK200029487.html

(Apologies if you have darker toned skin, not sure that these would work and as I'm fairly pale I'm not great at recommending things for darker skin tones)

wheresmymojo · 08/09/2023 15:58

And yes, they're expensive so I started with the travel sized one to make sure I actually liked it.

Having tried it, I decided it was worth the money even though it's on the expensive side. One of the larger ones will last a little while.

TurnerP · 30/10/2023 22:35

Which did you try in the end OP?

porridgeisbae · 30/10/2023 22:39

@TurnerP Thanks for asking. Life got in the way and now I'm probably broke lol. Maybe I'll ask for one of the bits off my sis for Christmas. Smile

Haha. I have the same issue so I'll be interested to hear what product you found best
