Bag for this dress for an informal non-church Autumn wedding.

Dress has just arrived and I'm honestly in love. It's super flattering and comfy and is very me (appreciate it's going to be marmite).

Have shoes already as per photo as am a shortarse.

What kind/colour of bag shall I go for?

My style is vintage/maximalist. Am obvs going for a 70's boho look with the dress. A vintage bag would be amazing if anyone knows of any good sites.

If the photo is rendering correct there's a burnt orange and mustard yellow in the dress. You could pick out either of those colours with a bag - fringed?!

Or go bolder - a red with the right undertones, or contrasting print (I'd go for nota floral -poss geometric- in the same tone family).

I might have gone for tan but not with those shoes.

Also consider using jewellery and lip and nail colour

@Whataretheodds there is an orange in the dress but my hair is a bright copper so not keen on a matching bag 🤣

The mustard in the dress is actually a tan/brown colour and like you say a tan bag wouldn't go with black shoes.

Am liking the idea of red though. And fringing! Thank you.

I had a quick Google of patchwork bags. You could also go beaded/vintage sequinned.

Does your vibe include feathers/animal print (conscious some Boho fans refuse animal-derived products). You could go peacock/ostrich feather or (faux) Croc or zebra.

I like the metallic gold tassel, I think I would go for a brash gold personally. Or something like an embroidered rattan one with pineapples or something on.

I have last years version of that dress, but with kimono sleeves, and I feel lush in it, so I'm glad you do too!
