Can anyone recommend a range which does MATT eyeshadows ?

I am finding it really difficult to find a make-up range which includes genuinely matt eyeshadows. Even if they appear to be so, time and again I find most shadows contain specks of "glitter" (though not overtly glittery). Personally, I feel self-conscious wearing sparkly shadow in the day .... it's just not me. Plus, am "getting on" a bit and believe I am "supposed" to go for matt shadow as it's apparently less ageing.

Thanks.

yes.

While all you MAC fans are here, do you use MAC brushes to apply the eyeshadow? What ones do you use?

brimfull · 02/03/2008 22:25

I use smashbox brushes I bought on ebay, just a normal blending brush and a short stiff one for lining.
Body shop and ruby and millie do good ones as well.

expatinscotland · 02/03/2008 22:29

Bobbie Brown also does real matt.

I just discovered MAC recently, bought foundation (OMG, the brush was dearer than the foundation) and now have eyeshadows too.

I love the variety of colours and that you can replace one colour in the set.

DualCycloneCod · 02/03/2008 22:31

there
tbh is no point buying any other brand.

fishie · 02/03/2008 22:31

i find a little pearlising is essential, dead flat is for the smooth skinned eyelid.

fishie · 02/03/2008 22:33

finger for eyeshadow but a nice brush for powder/foundation.
