I need some casual but comfy trousers for everyday wear

Cos mine are finally worn out and have a hole - but they are over 4yrs old .

I don't need to be dressy at all (sometimes wear jeans for work so casual is fine), but don't really want tracky bottoms or combats IYSWIM.

I don't like sheeny or overly stretchy fabrics or cheap fabrics

I like a half elasticated waist as I have big butt and thights to pull them over but small waist which causes non elasticated waitsbands to gape.

Have tried BHS (wear I normally get them) & Tesco.

Budget £15-20ish

If you don't help me find some trousers before I go to work showing everyone teh inside of my thighs thru me hole

I like M&S jeans I have a small waist to and a big bum and thighs and their jeans are OK, I got a great pair of dark die boot cuts with a proper height waist, not on the hips or halfway to boobs.

Primark jeans just don't fit me at all but matalans can be ok sometimes.

SlightlyMadSecretSoundWinner · 01/03/2008 23:01

I don't really want jeans, I have some good jeans and want trousers (black or neutral) to replace my trousers that are sadly off to trouser heaven . Funny how you become attatched to a pair of trousers...

Don't need to be trendy. Certainly don't want them uber trendy - but I don't want frumpy ones you see in the TV mags.

I like the secon link MMJ, but a little put off by the price tag.

Havn't looked properly in George (DP was bored by the time we got there). I just can't get passed the door....

passed the door of Primark that is....

Matalan - I like some of their styles but often disappointed by odd & chepa fabrics.

feck it!!!

SlightlyMadSecretSoundWinner · 01/03/2008 23:10

OK, what was the name of them and I will search by keyword.

Some of the trousers look OK actually, I thought they would be over budget but pleasantly surprised.

Oh I don't know, try looking through the trouser section there are loads, the ones I was linking to are onthe first or second page.

SlightlyMadSecretSoundWinner · 01/03/2008 23:15

TY.

There looks like lots to chosoe from - not many with teh half elasticated waist - but some nice styles and a good price tag.

Now all I have to do is find them in our haaaahooosive store...
