Has anyone been to the hairdressers and had their hair coloured in such a professional and natural way that nobody knows it has been done, or is it just me then ?

Bloody annoying. Got hair done on Thursday. Not cheap

Hairdresser suggested lowlights rather than highlights and kind of picked out the shades for me.

Now granted it looks good, it looks like my hair only better. DH looked at it and said mournfully oh I liked you when you were blonder. On Friday not one single person commented on it. Out today with friends again no one noticed.

Should I just be patting myself on the back for being subtle and sophisticated or should I get the peroxide upped the next time ?

Subtle is good.

So long as it is subtle and fabulous

Course people should say,

hmm is there something differnt about you? I can't quite put my finger o it...

i had mine done, hairdresser picked 2 shades v.close to my own to disguise my newly grown roots after my own unsuccessful attempt at highlights. came out of hairdressers feeling great and dh liked it. needless to say not one person actually noticed...i was wondering if i actually should have even bothered getting it done.

i always go with people not noticing as a good sign that I have had a good natrual job done.

that is me though - I generally don't like the 'noticing' thing.
