Recommendations for a good facial moisturiser

Hi,

My skin seems to be changing as I get older. The skin on my chin especially is dry and rough (sand paper comes to mind) and I think I might need a new moisturiser.

I have been using number 7 hydro for years and love the feel but it doesn't seem to last and my skin drinks it in.

I wear make up most days and take it off with micellar water and cotton wool.

I am in my early 40s and my budget is probably up to £20 (not a lot I know)

Has anyone got any excellent recommendations?

1st one i tried was Olay (Was on offer in Boots 1/2 price at £19) and i loved it. Then Loreal was on offer and its equally amazing. Ill try Boots No7 next time so i can gave 3 to choose from depending on how much they cost!!

Hi. I use the la Roche posay cicaplast baume and it's a godsend for dry skin. X

Sounds like your skin barrier might be a bit compromised! You might like sibu sea berry seed oil. It's my personal fave. It's so lightweight and has tons of omegas and antioxidants so it helps strengthen the skin barrier and smooth rough spots. Not the cheapest bottle upfront but a couple drops go a looong way and it's way gentler than most "active" stuff.
