Is this work appropriate?

I’m trying to upgrade my work wardrobe and go more formal into the office and came across Hawes & Curtis who have some really nice shirts and blouses. I quite like this gold one but just wondering if it’s work appropriate or not? They have a few different colours. Anyone else wear this sort of thing to the office or other more formal/fitted shirts?

Is this work appropriate?

Why wouldn't it be work appropriate? It's a button-up, fitted shirt. It's entirely formal and conservative.

Yes it’s work appropriate, and I am a lawyer.

Yes and same here.

And given my office has abandoned a dress code unless you're meeting clients I'd positively welcome you wearing that.

Work appropriate but you would need a strong anti-perspirant (or at least I would)- that type of fabric is awful if there’s any chance of the slightest hint of sweat

Shiny/tight fitting but agree think it should be fine!

It's nice but if the colour is similar to your skin tone (like the model) you'll probably look naked from a distance.

Hawes and Curtis tend to run small. They also come up on Vinted a lot!
