Hi, I'm currently suffering with Sciatica which means no heels as can't walk and numb foot. One of my legs is also a different colour (gp aware). This means that I'm looking for a longer dress for a wedding next week. I'm a size 16 and tall. Can anyone please help? I'm really struggling to find something and dont think I'll be able to make it to any shops.

Should I just buy American tan or black tights with a shorter dress??? 🤣

Can't post a pic but I got a lovely navy lace midi dress for a wedding from JD Williams if that helps.

Yes, I think that looks lovely!

Have a look at the Scarlett & Jo website! Loads of lovely dresses which are full length maxi. I’m 5’8 and mine is just perfect, true to size and really well made.

Yes OP. That looks lovely for a wedding.

I’d wear wide leg trousers and a lovely silk blouse with flat sandals and a cool clutch.

Was basically going to suggest the same.

The JD Williams dress is lovely OP. Gorgeous colour and style.

I'd suggest a full length jumpsuit as this would also look nice with flat shoes.

I would consider wearing wide leg trousers and possibly a matching top so that it looks like a jumpsuit. Alternatively wide leg evening type trousers and a silk shirt or a nice trouser suit with a silk or satin camisole of t-shirt style blouse. A full length dress can sometimes look too casual for the formality of most weddings.
