Skirts for work. Please help as I think my sartorial clock is stuck in my 30s.

For work I wear a nice reasonable smart shirt. And I've even resorted to clicky shoes (ie shoes with heels) after decades of wearing flats and boots. I've given into full make-up these days (I need it). But I can't force myself to wear short skirts - I have some mid calf straight ones that I've had for years and I feel comfortable in them. But there aren't any this year. Iv'e tried loads of shops but they are all above-the-knee. As it happens I have reasonable legs but I don't want to flash them at work. And I also hate wearing tights and stockings and you can get away without in longer skirts if you shave and moisturise them. I can't wear trousers as my arse is too big - I love jeans but others types look awful.

Help. My 2 favourites skirts are pleading to be out out of their misery

What about a long pencil skirt, like this?

Ah. Yes that would do but I'm not keen on black. Thankyou missing. I will have to trawl perhaps. I was only shopping in real life.
