I have some of this but what is the big fuss with it - is it not just really simple makeup remover? The shelves are rammed with the stuff of huge bottles, what am I missing?!

Yep, just make up remover. But it is good at its job, better than wipes.

It's very effective

It's great I have sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate and cleans well
One of the brands does a professional variant which I assume removes heavy makeup

I’m 60, found micellar water aro7nd 5 years ago.
imhe, of 40 plus years of make up removal, it is much more effective and leaves skin much cleaner without so much drag and pull at getting it off

cant see what’s in the damn stuff though which niggles me 🤷🏼‍♀️

im not a great one for beauty tips, don’t bother but have always used foundation, or these days BB/cc creams, and powder as have some scarring, if I’m poshed up I’ll stretch to lippy and mascara , and need to do my eyebrows these days post menopause (😢they used to be so nice). Used to use make up removers, tonics and moisturisers . What a faff

now I just use the micellar water works a treat and won’t change now from it. If my skin is a bit dry I’ll use moisturisers on it at night, but otherwise it seems fine with moisturisers in foundation and BB/Cc creams I use.
