Can anyone suggest a clean smelling fresh light perfume?

Hello! I am looking for a perfume for everyday use - I would really like something not too strong or not too 'evening' but instead light fresh and clean smelling. If anyone has any recommendations please tell me! Thanks 🙂

Also for everyday CkOne.

Arabian Opulence Baby Powder perfume oil. Three times this week so far people have stopped me to ask what perfume I'm wearing! It's beautiful - smells like clean skin and vanilla. The cheapest perfume I've ever used (about £5 for a small bottle of oil) but the one I've had most compliments on by far. You can get it on Amazon or Arabian Opulence's website.

I've just ordered this one as I can't imagine what it smells like but it has intrigued me!

Don't judge it on how it is immediately after you apply it - it's at its best as it warms on your skin, after about half an hour or so.

I'd love to know what you think of it - I've converted so many people to it, I hope you're one of them and love it too!

ILoveToads · 28/07/2023 17:57

Will do @Cocktopus

@Cocktopus have just ordered your recommendation!

another vote for Clarins Eau Dynamisante which is pure herby clean but elevated by a little delicious magic I can never put my finger on but doesn’t seem to exist in any other scent

I hope you love it too - come back when it arrives and let us know!

Arabian Opulence are going to wonder where all the sudden interest in their Baby Powder oil has come from 😂

Dinopawus · 28/07/2023 18:00

Got sprayed with the new Miss Dior the other day. It's floral, but quite light & fresh.

Babymamaroon · 28/07/2023 18:00

I vote for Clarins Eau Ressourçante.

It's my go-to super fresh scent, which I never get bored of.

CK Everyone

Dolce and Gabbana’s Light Blue

Roselilly36 · 28/07/2023 19:59

L’occitane Cherry Blossom, is a gorgeous light fragrance.

We are all different and have different preferences. Each to their own. But for me - and I believe quite a few others - Clarins Eau Dynamisante equals instant headache. I honestly can't imagine how anyone thinks it is 'clean smelling... light or fresh...'
Ditto anything by Davidoff. All - to me - very knock-out heavy.

I'm NOT saying I'm correct. There are no rights and wrongs. Again entirely personally, I think a light, fresh, clean perfume is very very hard to get right.

OP I hope you find something you like.

Fourfurrymonsters · 28/07/2023 21:06

CK One is a favourite and also smells gorgeous on my husband. I have eleventy million perfumes but after many years have just gone back to CK Eternity for women, which is maybe my all-time favourite.
Arran Aromatics After the Rain is also beautiful - lime, rose and sandalwood.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 28/07/2023 17:40

I tried that and it's lovely, isn't it?

Another fan of Inis💗. I have just bought the shower gel and body lotion to go with my perfume.

BroccliSpears · 28/07/2023 21:29

My summer favourites are:

O de Lancome
Liz Earle No 1
Clarins Eau Ressourcante

I also love Clarins Eau Dynamisante but for me this is a hot weather fragrance so I only wear it when I’m on holiday abroad.

Totally agree. What’s light and fresh for one person is headache territory for another.

Clinique Happy gives me a headache and makes me feel nauseous. I’m sure others love it. No right or wrong here!

I use Davidoff 'Cool Water' Woman.
I like the Davidoff 'Waves too'

Both of these are my go to everyday perfumes.

I love Cool Water.

Amarige Givenchy

MichelleScarn · 28/07/2023 22:38

Impulse O2! 😁

Tillyteacup · 28/07/2023 22:42

Cacharel Noa. Jlo glow.

Dombasle · 28/07/2023 22:46

Cabotine?

Not smelt it for years but a friend used to wear it as her work/office perfume and it was a very clean smell.

powershowerforanhour · 28/07/2023 22:48

Another vote for ck one. I used to love ck be as well but it's not as light.

Peanutbutterandmarmalade64 · 28/07/2023 22:48

Oldie, but love on rare occasions I now wear (avoid perfume generally due to skin allergies/issues) Nina Ricci, L' Air du Temps. Hard to source though, I rely on gifts!

CinnamonJellyBeans · 28/07/2023 22:51

I agree with a light orange blossom as a daywear staple. I have always liked the Di Paloma orange one, which is relatively cheap. I also have the Miller Harris Lumiere Doree, which I find very comforting, as it smells like 1980s washing powder!

passthesugar · 28/07/2023 22:58

I'm trying Diptyque's Fleur de Peau at the moment and it's lovely and light, but still warm
