having gone for the "all or nothing" approach for the first time today, I am very pleased with the results (surprisingly enough). Now how often do I have to shave/re apply hair removal cream? and any tips on how to avoid ingrowth?

Sorry if this has been done to bits before...can't find other threads

I found waxing hurt a bit the first time and then a little uncomfortable the next time but it really wasn't as bad as I thought. I go to a salon and have hot wax, which is apparently less painful than strip wax. I have a hollywood too. I used to just do the edges & trim the rest and will prob go back to that when I get bored or find something better to spend the money on!

I don't like being hairy but shaving was terribly itchy & grew back too quickly & was worried about using removal cream as I have sensitive skin.

I just use an exfoliating glove thing every couple of days and put on cucumber and aloe vera moisturiser daily (or whenever I can be bothered!)

My OH isn't bothered either way although he says he wouldn't be impressed if I had a "70s porn star" look.

I did it once to surprise my bloke- he was horrified!! Then I remembered I had a smear test 3d later The plucked chicken thing didn't suit me. And it was cold!!

i had a waxing recently - (nothing outrageous)! But the waxer (is that the job name??) was telling me all sorts of stuff about the people who go in there and ask for the most barking mad sort of stuff..

e.g. all off, and then a purple hairy wig applied with special glue, and little jewels fixed on pmsl

what's more, she said lots of them are policewomen and teachers, and some have grey hair and perms
