Moira Rose from Schitt’s Creek is my choice.

OP posts:

Amelia Peabody from the Elizabeth Peters mysteries. Steel ferruled parasol and all.

Miss Trunchbull. Comfortable, yet stylish.

😂

EarringsandLipstick · 16/07/2023 20:44

Oh, Kirsten Wiig in Bridesmaids. Fabulous figure

AllOfThemWitches · 16/07/2023 20:45

Bellatrix Lestrange

Anonymouslyposting · 16/07/2023 20:45

Villanelle or Blair Waldorf (though I’m probably too old for most of it now!)

AllOfThemWitches · 16/07/2023 20:46

Or Barbie

Backstreets · 16/07/2023 20:46

Shiv Roy!

thenightsky · 16/07/2023 20:47

Oh, I'd forgotten Villanelle! Good shout.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 16/07/2023 20:47

Fleabag

I'd also like to be 20 years younger and 2 stone lighter

EarringsandLipstick · 16/07/2023 20:48

Oh sorry, another one - Cora Crawley (Elizabeth McGovern) in Downton

CatChant · 16/07/2023 20:48

Bridget (Linda Fiorentino) in The Last Seduction.

BeReet · 16/07/2023 20:49

Morticia Adams or Helena Bonham Carter

Mercedesbenz2022 · 16/07/2023 20:51

Nicole Kidmans in the Undoing

Scarlett O'Hara in Gone with the Wind, or Deborah Kerr in the King and I. The width of those skirts! On a more practical note, I loved the carefully curated 60s wardrobe of Beth Harmon in The Queen's Gambit.

Twigletgirl27 · 16/07/2023 20:52

Emelia Fox in Silent Witness.... all of her clothes!

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 16/07/2023 20:52

Chrisjen Avasarala from The Expanse, especially the earlier seasons.

KohlaParasaurus · 16/07/2023 20:53

Trixie from Call the Midwife.

Brexile · 16/07/2023 20:54

@ItsCalledAConversation I'd actually take any of the girls' wardrobes in the old ITV adaptation. Even Fanny was so glamorous in a Dark Academia way.

I would high five you as a fellow big skirt fan but in these skirts I doubt we could get close enough for our arms to reach.

LaMarschallin · 16/07/2023 19:47

Professor Digory Kirke's

Obviously!

I can’t think of any other contenders tbh, unless you count The Luggage as a mobile wardrobe.

LiveByTheRiver · 16/07/2023 20:58

Polly Grey

Misshavishamsgrudge · 16/07/2023 20:58

Rose from Titanic…maybe a touch fancy for a trip to Lidl though…

Yes! Another good shout. Plus Lady Mary, but would need to starve myself down to her figure and shape up to her amazing posture.

Time40 · 16/07/2023 21:02

Marlene Dietrich's, from Angel (1937)

Zezet · 16/07/2023 21:03

Maura from Rizoli and Isles
