Brow tint- will it work on....

....fine baby hairs?

I've experienced a lot of autoimmune hair loss and my eyebrows are looking feeble. They've never needed tinting before and I haven't had them shaped for ages because of the hair loss.

So, what I'm wondering is would a tint pick up the tiny blonde baby hairs that have grown back where the bottom half of my brows used to be? They're almost invisible to the naked eye.

I booked in for the benefit brow bar but now I'm wondering if they'll think I'm mad.

Sorry to hear about the hair loss. I would suggest HD brows as the tint is quite strong and picks up the lighter hairs. See if you can get a recommendation from someone or look up salons social media pages for before and after pics.

Thanks. I'll have a Google.

If the hairs are there then they can be dyed. All i'd say is that if they are still sparse or uneven then it won't look any less so with more visible hairs in it's natural state - a good starting point for filling them in with an eyebrow pencil though. If you want the shape permanently configured or made to look thicker then you'd probably need to look into HD brows or microblading, but be very clear about what end result you want and find someone with a good reputation.

I was thinking I'd try dying and move onto microblading if necessary.

My only concern about mocroblading is the long term appearance and whether you'd have to annual top ups forever.

Maybe I shouldn't worry so much.
