Makeup Or No Makeup

What look is your preference and why.

I'm not sure if I want to bother anymore but don't want people to think I'm plain/invisible.

I like wearing make up. I don't wear loads but I like a bit of colour because I feel so pale. It makes me feel finished. Of course, when I catch sight of myself when I'm out, I wonder why I bothered. And even worse, I sometimes wonder if I'd bothered!
But I love my makeup so I carry on trying.

And, also, I love the time spent on me, applying it. It feels like a bit of a pamper.

Not much - I'll wear lipstick and mascara for heading out in the evening but otherwise I don't usually bother.

I have lvl lashes so don’t bother with mascara. I wear a very lightweight whipped foundation, some pixie stick blush and a bit of sheer lipstick.
ive had my make up done professionally before and both times it looked amazing but I wanted to scrub my face clean

I love putting on my makeup, it’s my most relaxing part of the day, love the whole ritual of it, it sets me up for the day, I will often pop on a YouTube make up tutorial whilst I’m applying mine, I’ve picked up some brilliant tips.

Always moisturiser, sometimes tinted at this time of year (Laura Mercier, thanks for the recommend MN), mascara and lipstick. I look better for it. I'm old, though I'm told my skin is pretty good for my age.
