Greece with breasts- what do you wear?

First Greek holiday with large breasts.
After DD1 breasts have increased from a 34C to a 36G.
What would look good!?
I need a style overhaul as I don't fit in anything from my previous holidays!
Booby women-what do you wear?

No, but I got a size 14 in this one and it fits well and is flattering: https://www.marksandspencer.com/tummy-control-padded-square-neck-swimsuit/p/clp60582163?intid=mobileapppdp_share

I ordered loads a few months ago and found the cup size ones didn't fit well, were uncomfortable or just put too much cleavage on display.

They don’t have a suitable size in any of the colours that would suit me. I probably need a 12 ? I am roughly a 10-12 in clothes.

Ah come on they aren't sarky they are funny!!

im sure the op has a sense of humour

I'm a size 10-12 as well but bought a size 14 in this and it fits well.

As someone who has been large breasted my whole life, I can tell you that swimwear for the larger bust has come a LOOOOONG way over the last 30 years!

I just bought a tankini from Mint Velvet in my bra size and it fits well. Next website has a good selection of swimwear from a variety of brands, some of which come in bra sizes.

As for the rest of the time, if you're slim elsewhere, v necked dresses that are floaty and/or wrap style will work well.

I have good legs but am an overweight apple so I wear a lot of shorts with t-shirts/blouses that are v-necked usually or mid length skirts.

I’m in Greece at the moment with my 30H. I’ve been wearing Freya and Miss Mandalay bikinis (bravissimo) without padding or moulding and an oversized linen shirt as a coverup. Light Cos and Jigsaw dresses in the evenings, I can’t be doing with anything strapless because it’s such a faff sorting out a bra. Shorts and shirts combos look good too and there are lots about here. I’m not worried about needing dresses fitted as it’s just so hot.

cactidream · 28/07/2023 12:58

I always go with Freya.

Strange thing, though- with their swimwear, I always need to go a cup or two sizes bigger than generally with bras!

HalfasleepChrisintheMorning · 28/07/2023 13:05

Fantasie for bikinis
I like sundresses with shirred back panel, Roman have quite a few.

Most high street clothes shops cater for 36G bust no problem. Just have a look and see what you fancy and buy it.

Which shops are these? 34GGs are not accommodated by most that I've been in 🙁

ThreadExterminator · 16/07/2024 07:01

@Flozle

I used to pop into John Lewis or House of Fraser when I worked on Oxford Street and buy bikinis that went up to G cup. I've just had a look online and John Lewis seem to stop at G but M&S go up to H cup. Next go up to H as well but I don't know how many they'd have in store.

When I want to buy a bikini now I just see what's available online at Brastop, Bravissimo, Figleaves etc.

MissScarletInTheBallroom · 16/07/2024 07:05

Freya do good bikinis for larger boobs.

Do they get a seperate seat on the plane?

Make sure it is an adjacent seat, not a row in front (unless they are REALLY big...)

As a sister in voluptuosity - finding summer clothing that's comfortable, flattering and, god forbid, stylish or trendy, is a lifelong quest.

A lot of us have a body shape that's also long of leg, flat of bum and apple of tummy. Alas the things that suit us most tend to be body-skimming and longline - tunics, waterfall cardigans, long tops - to go with shorts, crops, skinny jeans etc.

I say Alas because none of those items shrieks 'modern'. Certainly many S&B arbiters of style would call them dated, which of course they are, for the time being. The prevailing look for separates is high-necked, boxy and square. Which make me look like a house on stilts.

The only vaguely-on-trend shape that really suits me is those v-neck tea dresses that have a kind of x-shaped bodice with a seam under each boob - any dressmakers out there know what it's called? - such as the Nobody's Child Starlight range. They're usually cut too low for everyday, but great for holidays.
