I took the plunge and bought the YSL Loulou toy bag!

eeekk!! I've lusted over these bags since their release and although I would have LOVED the regular sized bag, I couldn't justify £2230... plus my DH would have probably divorced me!

I treated myself to the dark beige shade, but I was wondering.... can you get a metal chain for it opposed to the leather strap? I'd love to mix it up a bit! I couldn't see any straps for sale on the main website, but googling brought up Etsy but no straps in the dark beige :(

Is it your heart’s desire?

I get that it’s not as expensive as the regular size but is the price difference worth not getting what you really wanted?

If it is, ignore me. If not, return it, save the difference and buy the bigger one.

Theres sooo many bags I'd love haha I'd be saving for a LOOONNNGG time (I'd love a chanel... lol!!), but my DH is having a hard time getting his head around that I wanted a new bag after I promised him that my Louis Vuitton Neverfull was all I ever wanted and needed hahaha!!!

I have a black Loulou size small - this one has a chain instead of a leather strap,, which is why I am not wearing it much! The chain is SO heavy!

If you have other bags with chain strap I would keep leather one here.

I LOVE light green toy loulou - but my bag budget has no credit currently:D

Arrived and it's got a small mark on the back and one of the stitches has been missed :( not what I'd expect for the price. Will exchange it.

Go away! I’m sure you have more than two pairs of socks or knickers when you could simply hand wash and dry a pair after wearing, so really only need a pair to wear and a spare.

To the OP, that is very disappointing and poor quality control. Since you can’t contact them by phone, I’d email them now and try phoning again later.

@RicciardoPerez the mark probably wouldn't bother me too much, but the missed stitch absolutely would - I'd say that made it a "second". Definitely return it.

@WolfFoxHare it's ruined it for me to be honest. I've emailed them. I'm not going to re-order it and I'm going to order my second choice which was the Louis Vuitton Felicie Pochette.

SO disappointing, OP!
I am active at Purseblog, and unfortunately, you are not alone.
Usually, it's faulty at the front- lines aren't straight, but marks/scratches are very common.
Please post a picture of your LV!
I heard only good things about LV - my friend says that nothing happens to her Neverfull, she bought it 7 years ago and even carries food shopping in it - not a single scratch.😁

So I've been to Louis Vuitton (I have one near me :) ) and bought the monogram Felicie Pochette - will upload a photo when home!

I never understand this kind of response in the STYLE AND BEAUTY boards - people like things that you don't, and sometimes would like more than one.

@TheShellBeach different size and shaped bags are suitable for different days when you need to carry different things. Different bags go with different outfits - I refuse to accept that there would be one bag out there that would look right with every single outfit I own. One bag would require me to either dress in a dull and standard way (including work, weekend days, nights out etc) or regularly be carrying a bag that doesn’t look right with my outfit.

I don’t have the budget of many of the bag fans on here, but would never feel the need to question how other woman spend their money.
