Is DD's hair meant to be curly? Pic

So the fronts of DD's hair are very straight, however if DD's hair gets wet/if she gets sweaty, the back always goes curly. I have a pic but it usually goes curlier than this. However, I blow dry her hair and when I do, it is straight (probably because I'm brushing it and drying it) but if I leave it to dry by itself, the back gets curly. It was curly when she was a baby but not very curly. Am I potentially doing her hair wrong; am I possibly straightening her curls? Any advice would be fab Smile

Leave it to dry naturally and see what happens. I have naturally curly hair which gives it super body when blow dried but if left to dry naturally it forms big spiral curls. If it is longer than shoulder length the weight pulls out the curls.
it looks great when shoulder length and curly with a head band to tame the front.
To give definition to the curls use a product designed for curly hair. With dark hair oil based products give the hair a glossy sheen but blonde hair looks greasy so use a cream based product.

i think that’s what we call slightly wavy hair with a bit of help from climate conditions. Looks like she has body, so that’s a good thing

Her hair is "meant" to be however it is. Just let it be however it is. Life's to short ..

It's good thick hair with a kink. Definitely not curly.

Wet and condition. Lightly towel dry. Brush through. Leave to air dry. Probably best to trial on a weekend morning if she's not used to having damp hair.

Ps. I'd not be blowdrying a child's hair at all, it's very damaging.
