Nipple covering cami/support-free bra top help!

I want a loose, comfy vest that has inbuilt nipple cover with no support/shelf/elastic round my ribs or back at all.

My breasts don't need support. They're wide in circumference rather than big. They're fine and comfy and I'm happiest with no bra. BUT my nipples face forward and are very visible even through thick clothing.

I have to sit for 3-4 hours in front of clients for work so need my nipples not to show.

I can't stand the constructing feeling of bras and I get achey, tired and grumpy wearing them. I'm nearly 50 and have had this problem my whole life, tried many many bra fittings. I don't want any suggestions of bra fittings please as I'm desperate and need to be able to focus at work, have tried all sorts of bras.

I've tried sewing patches into loose vests to give some cover, but I'm terrible at sewing so although I have one makeshift, messy undergarment it's a bit of a joke!

I haven't much money, either.

I saw something on Amazon that says 'no support, no shelf,' etc. but it looks like they don't have my size.

I'm a 10-12 but my back is wide, last M&S fitting early this year I was 36D, but I find that tight and uncomfy.

So I just want a normal vest with pads. Do they exist?

Please help!

I was going to suggest sewing (does it really matter how messy your first go is on the inside if it works?) but how about cutting open (or off) the elastic from a shop bought bratop? Knit fabrics don't fray so they should be ok without any other finishing.

That's an idea I could try, to see if that makes it more comfy. I didn't know that about the not fraying — thanks!

I know this isn't what you asked for, but have you tried / considered pasties instead?

Tried...but I get very hot and sweaty (forgot to mention that problem!) and they fall off! 😆
