How to get that post facial 'glow'

Wondering if I'm a bit bonkers but you know when you have a salon facial, the glow afterwards is amazing. I know the treatment itself will account for a proportion of this but I'm after a product that, when I'm on a home day and not wearing foundation, I'd really like to use maybe a facial serum that will give me that dewy/glowy look (not a greasy look!)

Does that make sense? I'm on the wrong side of 30 with a hormonal chin for reference.

Vitamin C for the glow.

I'd do a facial at home.

I do one in the bath once a week. With a glass of wine!

So my regime goes:

body shop peel to lift dirt and skin cells/flakes

Then wash this off with dermalogica powder mixed with face wash

Then do facial massage with flat stone things with facial wash for lymphatic drainage and muscle lifting

Then a Hyaluronic sheet mask

Then later I will put a serum and eye cream before bed.

I have never done or had a facial but now I’m curious.
can we have more home made remedies please?

I've never had a facial but would consider doing one at home. Placemarking for any tips people share.

For a glow OP I find a nice light face oil does the trick. I use one twice a day.

Great pointers there, thank you!

Any specific serums and/or oils? I do love Clarins products (where I sometimes have facials) but one of their oils I had in a sample was far to heavy to use during the day

Mainly it’s the massage. Try doing some in the morning with your cleanser (oil based works best). Then use vitamin C and a good moisturiser.

Maybe use the clarins oil for massage and as a 10am mask then wash off? Then follow with a vit c toner and then serum/moisturiser?
