‘Uniform’ for this weather

Does anyone have any advice for dressing for this weather? I really struggle. Cold weather is fine, hot weather is fine, but I just never know what to wear for this muggy, mid temperature.

It’s not really warm enough for bare legs, and tights would be odd so I just end up in jeans and some sort of t shirt. It’s just so bleh. Midi dresses work ok so maybe I just need loads of those?

For example, I’m going for a walk and pub lunch on Sunday, what type of thing should I be wearing?

Im short and big boobed, size 12so always need a proper bra and don’t like getting my bare legs out really. Also don’t like anything tight. Early 30s

I’m in a rut - roll on autumn!

I wear a lot of cropped black trousers in British summer when it’s not hot - I have some cotton chino ones and some linen ones. They are from Asos, can wear with nice little cropped shirts/t shirts/any top really and later with a thin jumper. I am also size 12 short and booby! I wore only dresses for years but have gone off them a bit lately, partly as I’m often cycling and they’re not so practical.

It really depends on where you are walking. We live rurally so ticks, brambles and nettles could be a problem so I would have my legs and ankles covered. At this time of year I live in cargo pants and would wear socks with walking trainers to walk round here. Jeans are thicker and are probably better for nettles and brambles.

Then a T-shirt and hoodie/jumper/denim jacket. Forecast for tomorrow is a windy 16 degrees where I live.

Maxi dress with a denim jacket, or rolled-up jeans with a silk shirt (silk is a magic fabric that keeps you warm when it's cool and cool when it's warm).

I also love a kimono jacket over jeans and a camisole top. One Hundred Stars do lovely ones.

Mom jeans, a racer vest top and Vejas. Plus linen shirt or jumper over shoulders if needed.

Culottes (linen, light denim)
T-shirt
Trainers or sandals
Cropped loose cardigan

Living rurally we see a lot of walkers com to the pub after their walk and TBH, they are all wearing proper walking trousers and boots. They dress for comfort and the weather rather than for going out socially.

For footwear just wear what is comfortable, regardless of the brand. People won't notice what brand of trainers you are wearing because your feet will be under the table, and you don't want to have sredded feet after only a mile or two.

Linen joggers, Cos midi vest dress, whistles jumpsuit or denim midi skirt (mango). Not all at once obviously 😄
