Cold tool for puffy under eyes?

VanellopeVonSchweetz99 · 25/06/2023 01:28

I've noticed lately that even just a few hours of sleep depravation makes me look shocking the next morning. Sort of puffy and hollow at the same time. I'm 50 and I realize eye bags and loss of collagen and elasticity is a natural part of ageing, but this is something else.
I panicked and googled the tip about cold teaspoons and it certainly had some effect, which makes me think there must be a better tool? Preferably one I can take when I'm travelling. But what? Ice globes? Cold mask? But that wouldn't work if the hotel room doesn't have a fridge/freezer, right?
Is there some magic potion?
Many thanks for any advice.

Boots Botanics range does an eye cream that is applied with a built-in metal roller ball which seems to always feel cool.
Other than that, I have two little roller ball devices - one was off the Revolution skincare shelf.... I looked again in Boots but couldn't find it but it was available on the A-z site I think.
Also I have one that I got from Avon.
Both of these have handles (the Revolution one is very small) that have a tip shaped to get the cream out of a jar. So handy!

Charlotte tilbury do an eyecream with a metal tip that you put in the fridge.

Back of a spoon from the freezer.

Yes, back of a spoon totally worked, thanks!
Just thinking if there's something that might do a similar thing when I'm travelling again and without fridge/freezer. Or some magic potion.
Some mornings I looked a fright.

For travelling or when I can't put the spoon in the freezer I use cold wetted herbal teabags. Eyes closed of course!

Primark are selling some cold globe type things that you keep in the freezer/fridge

I find caffeine eye cream really makes a difference. Also make sure you’re hydrated!

VanellopeVonSchweetz99 · 25/06/2023 22:23

All good advice, thanks everyone!
Any particular caffeine eye cream?
