Comfortable work shoes

I'm having a nightmare finding comfortable work shoes - please help. I think I have arthritis in by big toe and so any shoes that aren't trainers, or if I walk distances, seem to really hurt. I'm constantly wearing trainers to work then changing at the door into professional shoes, I would just love a pair of shoes I can wear all day.
My work style is professional, but not as far as wearing suits. I have a number of shift dresses, plus some more floaty dresses. I also wear wide leg or cropped trousers with tops/shirts. Court shoes are always my go to, but they aren't comfortable for any length of time. I did try some shoes from Sole Bliss but they were a disappointment and didn't fit well at all. Any suggestions?

I recommend Vionic, Fitflop, and Gabor. All a bit pricey but look in sales.
I wear boots for as long as possible then switch to sandals. Shoes seem to be trickier.
How about brogues? Or something like a T-bar or Mary Jane which gives more support and is more stable than a court shoe?

Hotter shoes
So comfy and durable. Our DD used to have problems with pain in her feet but not now she wears these.

BorneoBound, I feel for you. I completely understand, and that is why we waste so much money on shoes. During lockdown, my feet had a complete break and recovered from all the foot problems that were caused by wearing shoes to work along with the stress.
It sounds like you spend a lot of money on office wear and perhaps, stick to simple styles that you can mix and match. The only thing worth spending money is on footwear. I can recommend Gabor/hotter wide.
Best to wear open toe, smart sandals, wedge for support and less height - where there is no pressure on your big toe.
Good luck

I have Fiflop Oxford, Derby and Allegro loafers for work. I get quite a few compliments on them too. Cured my plantar fasciites.
