Do I look ok in this or shall I sell it on Vinted?

Bought this jumpsuit on Thought. Not used to jumpsuits and also have a peri-menopausal body, carrying all my weight in my tummy.

On the plus side, it's very comfy. Super soft cotton and cool in this heat. But I don't think that tie waist is flattering to the large of waist.

I was very busy and forgot to return in 30 days, so I will have to sell on Vinted. Please excuse the mess in my spare room.

I don't think the picture is doing you any favours, but if you're asking does your tummy look big in this then absolutely not! You are doing yourself an injustice with your description of your body/shape.

The only thing I would say is that the length of the legs looks wrong. If it's supposed to be mid-calf then it needs to be shorter, and if it's supposed to be full-length then it needs to be longer.

At the current length it looks as if it's a full-length jumpsuit that's been cut too short.

Disclaimer: I have very long legs and struggle with trousers being long enough so I'm disproportionately sensitive to any hint of ankle-flappers 😅

I think it's cute on you. Check your back view too though. I like it on you though Bear

whatwasIgoingtosay · 21/06/2023 16:10

I'm a big fan of loose and drapey clothes, but, honestly, I think this is just TOO loose and drapey - on both the model and on you. It's shapeless and unflattering. Sorry!

BansheeofInisherin · 21/06/2023 16:12

Thanks all. I think I have lost some weight since I bought this; am certainly trying very hard. Sending it to Vinted. I think I need to try on jumpsuits because my whole body changes day by day.

I think it looks fine :) nice and comfy and casual

Strawberrypicnic · 21/06/2023 16:35

Defo sell it, you actually look like you're drowning in it a bit. The neck and shoulder part doesn't sit properly.

adriftabroad · 21/06/2023 16:35

I like it, I bet while you are moving around in it you look great. It is casual wear at homeish though.

Agree you do not have a big tum!

raffegiraffe · 21/06/2023 16:53

I agree with those saying tie at the side. It's how I wear my tie waist jumpsuits. I think it looks better

WinchSparkle80 · 21/06/2023 16:58

If you do sell it on vinted please don’t pose wearing it to sell it… personal opinion but it puts me off!

I think it looks good on you, and definitely worth keeping.

lljkk · 21/06/2023 17:09

Don't look remotely fat or large-middled in that pic, OP.

MassiveSalad22 · 21/06/2023 17:11

‘Large waist’??? Jesus. You would vomit if you saw me then.

It looks too big for you but you could definitely pull a jumpsuit of with your figure.

Arewehumanorarewecupboards · 21/06/2023 17:12

It doesn’t suit you but only because it’s drowning you.

I would go for separates if you are conscious of your waist (I can not see an issue with your waist).

darkmodeon · 21/06/2023 17:13

Looks nice but work on tieing the tie it looks messy

Wishimaywishimight · 21/06/2023 17:30

Tying it right on your tummy just draws attention to it, I would sell it OP.

Back21970 · 21/06/2023 17:31

It’s not a brilliant fit but generally I quite like it, depends though much you paid and how much you’ll get on Vinted?

If your only thinking of selling for £10-£15 I would just keep it as it will definitely do a turn.

Gwenhwyfar · 21/06/2023 17:39

Maybe I'm kidding myself, but I always think I can get around the knot and the big waist problem by tying something at the back instead.

piedbeauty · 21/06/2023 18:15

Keep it! Looks great on you.

oakleaffy · 21/06/2023 18:22

Looks too large a size on you, OP.. the less are far too wide and short for your legs- a slimmer, longer style would be much more flattering I think.

oakleaffy · 21/06/2023 18:22

edit : Legs not less!

oakleaffy · 21/06/2023 18:24

@BansheeofInisherin You are hardly ''Of large waist!'' That's ridiculous.

User195376587 · 21/06/2023 18:32

Depends how expensive it is, if it was cheapish, I would keep it and wear it round the house if it was comfortable

BansheeofInisherin · 21/06/2023 18:47

It looks a bit better tied at the back, but still too large and the legs are definitely odd. Find it so hard to figure leg width and size online!

No, I definitely do have a large tum compared to the rest of me, but it's a blurry pic and a dark colour!

My first thought was 'gosh what's she on about? she looks lovely!'

ireallycantthinkofaname · 21/06/2023 18:47

And i'm not just being nice, it would be less effort to just scroll past

CeliaNorth · 21/06/2023 18:59

Yes, it looks ideal for lounging round the house in hot weather - loose fitting and cool, light fabric.
